Dan Fletcher, Head Chef

Dan Fletcher’s rise has been fast and impressive, having worked in Michelin starred kitchens with the likes of Tommy Banks and Phil Howard.

Dan leads all food development at 28 Market Place. Working closely with the West Country’s best suppliers, Dan makes sure that 28 Market Places ingredient-led menu continues to evolve with the seasons.

We understand that while food is essential, restaurants and bakeries are not, therefore, we are joyfully driven to exceed our guests’ expectations daily. We value the bounty, as well as the people, on our doorstep and relish being a place for guests from near or far to gather in a relaxed setting for anything from a coffee to a tasting menu. Moreso now than ever, dining out is a real luxury and we delight in seeing the faces of guests who become regulars, and regulars who become friends. Without this support, we could not continue.
